Is ShiftAccept free for workers?
Creating and using a standard worker account is free.
Am I guaranteed shifts?
No. Shift availability depends on employers, staffing needs, worker qualifications, employer approval, location, and other factors.
Can I work with more than one employer?
Backup workers may build relationships with multiple employers. Each employer manages its own worker pool and decides which workers it interviews and approves.
Do I have to accept every shift?
No. Workers can review an offered shift and decide whether they want to accept it.
How does an employer add me to its worker pool?
An employer can review your profile, arrange an interview, and approve you for that employer's backup worker pool.
Can backup work become regular employment?
It may happen, but it is not guaranteed by ShiftAccept. Employment decisions remain with each employer.
What worker roles can I add?
Common roles include PSW, caregiver, home support worker, RN, RPN, cleaner, housekeeper, and other support roles.
Can I upload my resume?
Yes. Once your account is created, you can upload your resume in PDF format.
